Before putting in new flooring, it\u2019s best to address drainage, test and seal slabs, and choose materials like porcelain tile or quality luxury vinyl plank for extra moisture resistance. After any flooding, thorough drying and documentation are key, and investing in moisture-smart upgrades can make a big difference in your home\u2019s value and peace of mind.
